The Tall Ship Docked.

The Tall Ship in Glasgow recently moved to its new home by the side of the riverside Museum of Transport. Both are worth a visit.
When I visited here on Sunday there were a swarm of skateboard “dudes” tearing the place up. Managed to get a few decent photos of them too, perhaps for [...]

Old Friend.

I was teaching a mate some basics of photography this evening, and decided to revisit the Glasgow Science Centre.
It was where I went 10 years ago when I was first messing around with a tripod and trying out long exposure night photography. There’s so many nice angles to things that you can almost guarantee [...]

Mini on Garnethill

Some mornings my commute FLIES in, and I find myself in the city centre stupidly early for work. Ideal time for a wander and some random shots.

Cathkin Braes Walkies

A wee shot that I forgot I took, one walkies out on Cathkin Braes.
Sometimes I forget about a few pics, then rediscover them when am browsing through my library. This is just a wee silly shot, and I’ve experimented with some Aperture vignetting / defocussing in order to give a more [...]

The Holiday Routine.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic week in Arran… a small island off the Ayrshire coast, in the West of Scotland.
Anyway, one of the things we were keen to do was try to establish some sort of routine with baby Jacob, who has been driving us demented by sleeping all day and playing all night.
We [...]

Roadside Revisited.

Spotted this tree by the roadside one afternoon whilst driving to visit my brother-in-law and his girlfriend in the deepest darkest recesses of South Lanarkshire.
As I had a spare hour or two last night, I thought it’d be good to pop down and take a shot… I was really tired, but it was good to [...]

Growing Up Fast.

Time seems to have just evaporated over the last 6 weeks. Jacob is already changing in appearance, and getting awfully big! I have literally thousands of pictures of Jacob, however I don’t want to make this site into a Baby Blog…
I took this shot this afternoon, while Amanda changed him for going out. [...]

Field of Dreams

Took Baby Jacob out for his first trip to the park today, and brought the camera along. Wanted to get a few pics of Bailey Basset, as, well, I feel the wee guy has been left out a little recently, what with all the attention on the baby.
Saying that, all our visitors are making a [...]

Announcing Jacob Graham

I reaaaaaally don’t have much time, but I wanted to post this up.
I’m delighted to announce the safe arrival of Jacob Graham, born on 29th June 2010, at 11:09pm He weighed in at 7lbs 3oz (3.2kg). Both mother and son are doing spectacularly well, and am hopeful they’ll get out today.
This could mean that the [...]

Work, Rest and Play.

Someone left this Mars Bar sitting on the wall of the greyhound track, and I couldn’t resist a wee silly snap.
Still no news on the baby front. Fingers crossed we get an appearance this week!
